Yonder 2019

Introducing a new immersive multi-day camping music and arts festival held in the rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. There are few times and places in life where the truly unimaginable takes place; and in those moments, those precious few instances where reality drifts and fantasy takes hold, is where Yonder exists. Yonder offers the darker, the stranger and the eclectic in an escape from the toils of everyday life. Come and undergo a refreshing discovery of all forms of art, music and culture.

From the team behind the previous five golden years of Jungle Love Festival comes a new festival experience curated with a broad spectrum of emerging and established artists across many mediums and genres. Innovative and experimental artworks, engaging high end audio and visual production, will be showcased alongside exciting emerging acts: this is the festival to discover a new love.

Alongside an extensive music program across four stages, the festival maintains an equal focus on visual art, theatre, dance and audience engagement through workshops and talks. Freshwater creek swimming locations and stunning sunset views from the site’s towering hill are among the festival’s most attractive natural beauties, providing an air of reclusiveness from bustling city life. In this hinterland oasis, greeting and farewelling the sun as it sets across the landscape is a daily part of the Yonder experience.

Yonder is built on strong core values of community, inclusivity, acceptance and a commitment to providing a safe space for the diversity of all people. These values have been considered across all areas of the festival and supported by the festival team throughout the event.
