AVAXA
Building off the sounds of the natural Australian environment and from years playing melodic house and techno at festivals and in forests, AVAXA has fostered a true appreciation for how electronic music can be enriched by well placed acoustics.
The performance is an evolving culmination of light and dark drawing influence from John Hopkins, Fourtet, Nils Frahm, Grimes, Doppel and Ben Böhmer.
AVAXA has this ever evolving vision that is truly captivating. Purple Sneakers described AVAXA as “one of those enigmatic artists that imbues meaning to every detail as to create a mythology around their music”. Fixed in the search for the modern sound, AVAXA is ever looking forward to see how the aural sphere can be reinvented.
AVAXA’s performances have embellished Australia and Europe alongside Township Rebellion, Ben Böhmer, Maxim Dark, Grouch, Jiggler, Matan Caspi and Doppel, and at festivals such as Ars Electronica Festival, Earth Frequency, Elements, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Jungle Love and Bigsound, as well as headline sets at the Foundry, Sub Rosa, Elsewhere, and the Brightside.
