Buttercats
Buttercats are a disco-soul band from Meanjin who make music for the people. They are a melty, glistening dewdrop of euphoria who create an atmosphere of electricity and sexiness through their cruisy grooves, smooth vocals and cosmically gorgeous fashion. Their growing reputation as a live band has seen them take to the stages many times, including supporting iconic songstress Ngaiire in 2021 on the Brisbane leg of her Australian tour, a headline spot at Hidden Lanes Festival, and an East Coast tour of their EP ‘milk’, which was released in May, 2022.
