Chocolate Strings
Chocolate Strings are a Reggae-Dub-Funk collective grown from the boroughs of Brisbane’s inner city. A festival favourite, Chocolate Strings are known for packing dance floors with sweating bodies and smiling faces. Having performed across the country for fifteen years, the strings have made a name for blending cultures and music from around the world. Fronted by powerhouse vocalists Ofa Fanaika (Tonga) and Nikki McWalters (Papua New Guinea), the band brings the troppo flavours of the Pacific wherever they play. Returning from the studio with a brand new album on the way and new hits for festival goers, this combo is sure to please any groove-hungry hunter.
