C H U R C H is a collective of musicians based in Brisbane, with the core business of igniting the spaces and communities for whom and in which they play.

C H U R C H is improvised music at its best – culminations of Neo-Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Funk. The group have had permanent and long term residencies at The Bearded Lady and Rumpus Room in West End and feature as an intergral part of the local scene. Giving space for no namers, established touring musicians and the ‘yet-to-be’ realised potential of the shyest, to take flight on stage.

Three years in, Ofa Fanaika [Founder] has taken C H U R C H into the festival scene with interactive appearances at Island Vibe, Jungle Love, Brisbane Street Art and Earth Frequency Festivals. Catch them at Yonder – Get along and get involved!
