Zaynab Wilson, who performed with fellow Canadian artist Alysha Brilla, comes to Yonder as MoZayic and performs her original material for an Australian music festival audience for the first time. The music grooves in pocket along with her dynamic and expressive narratives and is transmuted into songs that “quietens your spirit”. MoZayic is a borderless and expansive collective that started in Toronto, Canada in 2013 and is taking new shape in Australia. The humble collection of independent musicians each carry their weight in flow and improvisation influenced by Jazz, Soul, R&B and Afro-Caribbean.
