Trace Decay’s foray into melancholy pop explores a slightly darker side of the human mind, crafting hauntingly beautiful spaces with unique melodic undertones. Born out of the mind of frontman Jordan Depas, Trace Decay have a knack for brazenly charming storytelling,
combined with tongue in cheek humor & a hit of 80s nostalgia.

Entering 2022 with an enriched new sound, Trace Decay’s first new single ‘Paradigm’ garnered support from triple j Unearthed, receiving a first play on ‘TOPS’ as well as receiving praise from the likes of theMusic, Amnplify, GC Live, Emerge podcast and more. Follow up single ‘’Radicalize ft. Lucille Two’’, which was released with a music video, was picked up by Triple J and played on Home n Hosed by Declan Byrne. The Radicalize music video, which was directed by Dom Gould (Sycco, San Mei, Alice Ivy, Peach fur) and filmed at Ventspace in Albion was added to MTV Upload and put on rotation along with support from local radio stations.

Trace Decay’s vision remains constant; to uncover life at the antitheses of the subconscious and conscious mind through expertly crafted indie pop electronica untethered from the monotony of everyday life. The band’s second EP entitled ‘Imprint & Illuminate’ is officially out now, with feature track ‘Grown Apart’ already becoming a fan favorite.
